Our company has been expanding into Europe and we are seeking a Pricing Analyst local to Prague to join our existing team! The Pricing team is responsible for setup of all existing and new customers pricing, overall profitability of ShipMonk, and various ad-hoc market analyses and research. We collaborate with all teams within ShipMonk including those in Prague and the United States as well as at various locations of our individual warehouses.
You will be working in one of the fastest-growing US companies, with Czech roots. ShipMonk provides a mix of remote work and working from our office in Karlín. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate on important decisions in a rapidly evolving work environment with potential for international growth!
What you’ll do:
- Conduct analyses for potential customers and propose prices based on their unique needs
- Evaluate the financial impact of decisions regarding existing customers
- Create new and improve existing tools, structures, and strategies
- Monitor the financial performance of individual customers, propose adjustments, and implement strategies
- Market research and monitoring
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team to create value propositions for each client
- Assist in making key decisions about the Company's business direction
What you’ll need:
- University degree in finance, economics, statistics, logistics or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in an analytical role (i.e. consulting, corporate finance, or logistics)
- Extensive knowledge of MS Excel and G-Suite
- Fluent English and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to defend and support decisions with numbers
- Ability to work on time-sensitive initiatives and take responsibility for results
- Independence, quick learning, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment
- Understanding basic financial statements
- SQL/Tableau skills are a plus
